GeerCrest Room - 206 - A local hotel offered suite themed in his honor. I did find browsing from the hotel's current home page the suite is not appearing in the current list of suites for reservations.

New park is named after Geer family. - Statesman Journal: City council unanimously votes to change the facility's name from "State Lands Ballpark" to Geer Park - cityofsalem.net (A state correctional facility, accents, the park in background of the photo)
