Ralph Erskine (cryptologist) → Ralph Erskine (Lawyer and Historian) – Ralph Erskine was not a cryptologist which is someone actively involved in the making or breaking of codes and ciphers. He was a Northern Ireland government lawyer and specialist historian on the work of the British wartime codebreakers at Bletchley Park Mickwsmith (talk) 19:08, 29 May 2021 (UTC) —Relisting. Support "Ralph Erskine (historian)" per WP:CONCISE. The Daily Telegraph obituary suggests he is best known for his work as a scholar rather than as a government lawyer (at least the title and subtitle does - I could not read the full article due to the paywall). Move to Ralph Erskine (barrister). He was a career government lawyer and was appointed Companion of the Bath for his long services as such.[1] We use the specific type of lawyer as disambiguator for British lawyers. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:07, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Move to Ralph Erskine (historian), since the article says "His groundbreaking legislative work was subsequently overshadowed by his work on the British codebreaking operations."
