==User:Feanor0/Ramya Sreenivasan==Dear Roland zh, please can you advise on why you replaced the category Indian historians with Indian women historians? Unless there's a similar Indian men historians category that all male Indian historians are added to, this seems like an unnecessary category, merely adding to the already widespread gender bias in Wiki. Thanks! Feanor0 (talk) 07:56, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Feanor, women (gender) issues are not the topics of your draft to be categorized more accurately: "...an associate professor of history at the University of Pennsylvania..." and alma mater (already categorized) are the main content of your short draft that imho is missing research, publications, and so on, for encyclopedic notability, and to meet criteria for a more adequate categorization. btw: gender related categories are widely established in a positively handled manner. for the time being it's the most adequate category, and "Indian historians" is tagged to be handled as a subcategory not to be used for individual wikis. kindly regards and happy editing, Roland zh (talk) 16:11, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
