I’m not sure how to link to another article (forgive my inexperience) but they decided in the talk section that they would add something to say that a fee had been agreed for the transfer in the club history but not create a Manchester United section until after the transfer was completed. It said something like ‘On 1 July 2021, it was announced that Manchester United and Dortmund had reached an agreement for Sancho's transfer, subject to him signing a contract and passing a medical, both of which were expected to happen after the UEFA Euro 2020.’. Doing so in this case seems reasonable when both clubs have announced it, even if the transfer fell through I think a fee being agreed by two clubs is notable enough to be included in the club history section regardless.
