Second World War to warn of gas? There was no poison gas in WW2. Do you mean WW1?91.111.10.224 (talk) 15:56, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Photo(s) needed[edit]

Does anyone out there have an image of a ratchet they could provide for this article? Although the description is good, a person needs to see it to understand. Todd Bridges 12:50, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Check out the German version of this article, which has several more pictures that could possibly be reused in this English version. —QuicksilverT @ 16:21, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ratchet in hunting[edit]

I've encountered a finnish source that says ratchets were used in hunting to scare animals into moving. Does anyone know more about this? 194.89.228.50 (talk) 11:43, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge of Rapach, Raganella[edit]

Rapach and raganella are different, non-English names for the same instrument. The article already covers all other variants, and these two do not appear to have standalone notability. Ibadibam (talk) 03:59, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
