I'm a reviewer on Hindi Wikipedia and a participant on that discussion. According to proofs provided by User:Hindustanilanguage Mala Chaubey is almost certainly the wife of Ravindra Prabhat (née "Chaubey" even according to this article). And Nazia Rizvi is certainly the case of WP:COI because she tells us by herself (here in Hindi) that she is translating the works of this man in Urdu and take many interviews of him. According to our estimate there is/was a team dedicated to promote Ravindra Prabhat. This article is existed in more than 40 languages but still this man's notability is only certified by Hindi sources while in India we have large English media.--Hindust@nit@lk 05:42, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm really concerned about puffery etc here but almost all of the sources are non-English. We're going to need translations (see WP:NOENG). @Sitush: There has been a long discussion on Hindi Wikipedia over here (sec 36 to 41). (Most of it is in English. So you can enjoy too.) Few users, User:Mala chaubey and User:Naziah rizvi have been accused of promoting Prabhat but I don't know why there has been action taken on them over there. Former is also an admin there. Also, 48 entries on different wikis is just too much and provides proof of some foul play. I am also surprised at the lack of any action over there. Perhaps because of User:Mala chaubey being an admin and otherwise a productive editor. I will say no. The SAT reference used for this article is an interview of the subject with certain Manoj Kumar Pandey, and as noted on top User: Pandey.manoj118( one of the main contributor in his book articles) has close connection with subject. OK, anything sourced to things written by people who, prima facie, have also edited this article needs to be binned. Not only that, I venture to say that they've shot themselves in the foot and we need to monitor this to ensure that such sources are not introduced again in the future. That's the only way I can see for us to give the appearance of not being corrupt: we can't really be sure of the good faith of either those users or those writers.
