Untitled[edit]

I plan on including more information regarding “Film characteristics” from the article I discovered by Peter X. Feng, The State of Asian American Cinema: In Search of Community. I want to recognizes the importance of Asian American identity discussed in the article and how the personal story and family history of Tajiri could have influenced her work. I would also like to include under the category ideas from John Streamas’ Patriotic Drunk’: To Be Yellow, Brave, and Disappeared in Bad Day at Black Rock, and discuss her unique experimental strategy when it comes to what she reveals to the camera, keeps hidden, or even hints at. I think there definitely has to be more information in general in terms of her experimental technique and its purpose for an audience. When it comes to personal life, I have a decent amount of information about her family history and its influence on her work within Asian American cinema. I think the Wikipedia article on Tajiri lacks a lot of personal information so I am eager to include more about how her family’s past has influenced her work as a director. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HTSCHRE (talkcontribs) 03:19, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
