Record Producer NOT same thing as Music Producer

This article needs major corrections. I have years of experience in the pro audio industry and even attended recording school when young. This article blurs the line between the 2 terms which is a big misnomer.

The term Music Producer should be on a separate page. Also, the term music producer is basically a modern day replacement for Composer.

Real record producers seldom ever compose (create) any of the music. The term Record Producer has a very specific meaning in the industry, and i'm sorry but most hip hop/electronic project studio composers are NOT record producers. The term Record Producer is a legal term related to contracts and masters. In a few weeks i will explain.

This page has like no citations for anything. It sounds like it was written by one guy publishing original research. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.219.69.233 (talk) 05:48, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
