  • I think some wikilinks are needed: coagulants, haemolytic properties, syntype, front-fanged, billabongs, Woy Woy, analgesia, necrosis, kilodaltons
all linked now Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 12:33, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Pseudechis porphyriacus eipperi the Atherton Tableland and surrounds in North-east Queensland, which he noted was smaller, rarely attaining 2 m (7 ft) and had a white or pale pink rather than red belly – is there an "inhabits" missing?
added "from" it's a subordinate clause Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 00:12, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Snake handler Raymond Hoser described two subspecies in 2003 – I got confused here: These two subspecies exclude the main population of the snake, which was not referred to any subspecies? If this is the case, maybe it could be mentioned for clarity?
added "extra" for clarity. Note that this author's work is regarded as controversial and has not been widely accepted. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 00:12, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I really think the red color on the sides should be described in more detail; there seems to be an alternating pattern between black and red scales judging from the picture?
the red side and belly scales all have black margins. added now. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 12:33, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • generally not an aggressive species, generally withdrawing – do we need both "generally"?
tweaked Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 00:21, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • When not hunting or basking it may be found beneath timber, rocks and rubbish or down holes and burrows. – source is missing for this one.
added now Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 12:33, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • SVL of 78 cm – snout-vent length? I would spell that out.
added Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 00:21, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • aPTT – maybe I would spell this out also.
added Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 00:21, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • everything else looks very fine, solid work, reads very well. Did a copy edit, feel free to revert if needed. --Jens Lallensack (talk) 20:20, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
copyedits look fine Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 00:12, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Drive by comment - I noticed that there are some nice, unused images on Commons[1], and that the current taxobox photo is of very poor quality. Perhaps this[2] could be a better taxobox image? And it seems a waste we don't use one of these cool images of a hood[3][4], the watermarks can be removed (a hood isn't mentioned in the text, perhaps an oversight?). This image with the tongue out could also be interesting.[5] FunkMonk (talk) 04:16, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
added two images. reading about the neck mentioned now. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 12:33, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

closing note: thanks for the fixes; will pass it now. --Jens Lallensack (talk) 20:08, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
