Expanding Versioning[edit]

I had added in a table with some outline of the version for the EL7 releases. The Version section doesn't seem to add much and doesn't make any references, that's why I have added in the 'Citation need' tag.

It's hard to find credible sources on this software other than the couple of news pages, or even the primary GitHub. It's not even mentioned on the the DistroWatch.com site.

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it provides the same kind of information about a Linux distribution that is specified on a range of other wikipedia articles describing similar Linux distributions, including CentOS and Scientific Linux. The kind of data provided was specifically checked against other Wikipedia entries such as CentOS, Scientific Linux and Yellow Dog Linux. If the RedSleeve entry is promotive then implicitly the other entries must be as well. Can you please explain your reasoning behind deletion?

The only EL7 for Raspberry Pi[edit]

Infobox:

The article at CentOS has "Initial release" and "Latest release" in its Infobox.
Let's add them to RedSleeve's infobox. Although the latest release of RedSleeve 7.1 was announced "Posted on July 18, 2015 by joshua", the files for RPi and RPi2 are dated "2015-05-16".

ARM versions:

older architecture
- Fedora 23 for ARM doesn't support ARMel - only the old Pidora (2014) supports RPi
- CentOS ARM SIG doesn't support ARMel - only RedSleeve supports RPi
more recent architecture
- The article at Fedora (operating system) has ARM-hfp listed in its Platforms.
- The article at CentOS has "Platforms: x86-64" only - it doesn't mention ARM. Recently, the Special Interest Group released CentOS for ARMv7hl such as the Raspberry Pi 2.

There are lots of older ARM devices (Raspberry Pi and Excito Bubba3) and there will be users familiar with Fedora / RHEL / CentOS looking for a Linux in this family tree for their RPi. Information is widely available for RPi2 as it has support from the major distributions. There is too little exposure to these independent projects.
