Infobox[edit]

  • You can remove any unused parameters as all they are doing is building article size
  • Done, though I left a few optional parameters. The majority have been removed. ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:12, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Rest is great

Lead[edit]

Unresolved
  • Should it be "the Brig" or "The Brig"?
  • Oh, wait. The reason I went with "the Brig" to be consistent with the Jason Rowan quote. Should I change back? ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:24, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • That depends, is the title of the bar "Brig" or "The Brig"? I looked it up and it was called "Brig", so I will de-capitalize it and then pass the article. Thanks for your quick responses! Always a please working with you. Cheers, Carbrera (talk) 20:14, 17 June 2016 (UTC).[reply]
  • Would it be alright if you reworded "It hosted drag queens, live music, special events, and viewing parties." to "It hosted drag queen shows, live music, special events, and viewing parties." (I think it sounds it a big odd with "it hosted drag queens"; what do you think? Or maybe even "drag queen events"?)

Description and history[edit]

  • I didn't find a single thing that I would change; absolutely great work!

Reception[edit]

Paragraph 1[edit]

  • I don't know; Ruth Brown's Williamette Week's quote is a bit too large; you could probably condense it and the reader would still get the same information from it
  • Firstly, I realized this quote is more of a description than commentary about an experience one had at the bar. I moved this quote to the Description and history section. I like this quote as an opening description of the bar. It describes the clientele, a feature (dance floor), its diversity/inclusiveness, and offers a little commentary about its surroundings (people wandering in and out). How do you feel about this text move, and what are your thoughts on shortening? ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:34, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • To be honest with you, I think it was better where it was originally placed. And I guess I can't really think of a way of shortening it without something important being removed. May you revert that edit? Carbrera (talk) 19:37, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

External links[edit]

  • Was there ever an official website for the nightclub?

End of GA Review:[edit]

Fantastic work @Another Believer! I am placing it on hold for seven days to allow for any changes. I know Legobot hasn't been working in the past 24 hours, so I hope you see this notice ASAP. Please feel free to contact me me with any questions, comments, or concerns by @PINGing me here. Thanks and good luck! Cheers, Carbrera (talk) 03:15, 17 June 2016 (UTC).[reply]

Thank you for your time and assistance. I left comments above. Happy to discuss further. ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:35, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Another Believer: I am not sure where to place the article in the list of GAs, could you help me out with that? Carbrera (talk) 20:18, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I think other gay bars may be listed at Culture, sociology, and psychology. ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:28, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
