Red Fox James is a more honest person than he appears to be often in print.

Documentation for Red Fox James is very conflicting.

Almost every fact about this person can be fairly debated.

His many names[edit]

Red Fox James Real name seems to be Vincent St James.

His Catholic Church name was Francis St James.

Red Fox was a nick name that he received as a cowboy.

Skiuhushu seems to mean "Red Fox" in the Yakima Indian Language.

Dr. Barnabas Seems to be a theological name he used while a college professor. [1]

Red Fox James seems to be wearing the Boy Scouts Citizenship Medal. Very little is known about this medal.

He seems to have the Boy Scout tenderfoot rank sown onto his hat or A unknown Boy Scout Patch.

Blackfeet Indian seems to be correct.

Red Fox James seems to be... 1/2 Blackfeet Indian 1/4 Crow Indian 1/8 Blood Indian

This seems to be open for debate.

Red Fox James did dress Lakota. He looks like a Lakota Indian. My feeling is this is unlikely.

1920 In Des Moines Iowa while on the lecture circuit he becomes seriously ill.

He recovers from this unknown illness.

In November 1921 a "Bunco artist" assumed the identity of Red Fox James in Kansas going under the name William Red Fox. [1]
