No swinging[edit]

Just compared Smith's majority levels. From 2001 to 2005, she improved her majority by 250 votes. That much is a sing of 125 in her favour. Still, her constituency has no swing. How is that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.134.28.194 (talk) 10:58, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Her vote share reduced by 0.9%, and the second-place candidate's vote share reduced by the same amount. Therefore, the two party-swing is (0.9)+(-0.9)x½ = 0. 81.111.114.131 (talk) 22:38, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
