Merger proposal[edit]

The result of this discussion was to merge (no feedback) Mrh30 (talk) 10:08, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that Hyperbac be merged into Red Gate Software. I think that the content in the Hyperbac article can easily be explained in the context of Red Gate Software, and the Red Gate Software article is of a reasonable size in which the merging of Hyperbac will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. – Redgate the company is the primary topic, the existing Redgate disambiguation page should be moved to Redgate (disambiguation) – 212.44.26.236 (talk) 16:12, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 16:40, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I've requested that Red Gate be renamed, so participants in this discussion might also be interested in that one. See Talk:Red Gate -- 65.94.40.137 (talk) 06:30, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Apart from the company, the only other sensible entries on the page are people with surname Redgate, and they can be safely listed in Redgate (disambiguation). Entries about Red Gate are red herrings (pun intended), and should be removed from that page or placed in See also (in fact, I'm going to do that just now).
