Adding a photo[edit]

Hi, this is my first "created from scratch" page. Please be kind! I wanted to add a photo of Reeta Chakrabati but I am aware of the WP policy on photos from links and copywritten sources. If anyone has a copywritten friendly and appropriate photo that they could add that'd be great, thanks. Groovycathers 09:28, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Citation not needed[edit]

All students studying a foreign language spend the third year at a university in the country of their studied lanaguage, so there is no need to cite a source that Chakrabarti spent a year in France. Whether it is a significant fact is another matter........... Emeraude 08:33, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair point as regards UK students, as she was one, but is this true worldwide - there may be people reading this from elsewhere round the world where is not the case, anyone know? Groovycathers 09:46, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Family Relations[edit]

Is she related to Liberty director Shami Chakrabarti? I've been wondering this for ages.217.44.58.77 04:50, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've been wondering this too; They don't look that dissimilar! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.56.80.187 (talk) 08:13, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I don't think so, I'm sure I read somewhere that it was a common misconception but it's not that uncommon a surname in Bengal. I'll try and find a reference for this. Groovycathers 09:00, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, i always though they were related, but it turns out that they're not - http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/theeditors/2007/07/liveblog_the_postscript_1.html Darigan (talk) 13:25, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
