--What about the private banking Regulation D?--

There is no page on that.

and this page is not helpful at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.52.9.151 (talk) 22:30, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Scope[edit]

This article should really be split in two, one on the SEC reg and one on the FRB reg. The content on the FRB reg should be summarized in Savings account.

The hatnote conflicts with the content in this article. I'm adding Template:Banking in the United States but it can be removed when this article's scope is fixed.

Neither use is primary, so this should be a disambiguation page redirecting to the two others.

JOBS Act[edit]

The JOBS Act repealed the ban on general solicitation, right? This page should probably mention that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 8.20.184.6 (talk) 20:25, 9 May 2012 (UTC) .[reply]

The JOBS act appears to lift some restrictions on advertising for certain classes of investments. However, until the SEC issues the clarifying instructions, all private placements are to be treated as if the act had not been finalized.--DeknMike (talk) 03:29, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the page should at least cover the proposed rule until it takes effect, which should be shortly... Lawblogger18 (talk) 17:39, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
