Coordinate error Reid Hall[edit]

{{geodata-check}}

The following coordinate fixes are needed for Reid Hall Miami University. I don't know precisely where it is, but I doubt it's a couple of hundred miles south-west of Xinjiang, China in the middle of the Taklamakan Desert. —98.151.164.207 (talk) 23:05, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Based on information from the University web site concerning the location of Reid Hall, what the Hall would be replaced with (a business school) , historical pictures and and satellite images from Google earth I believe that Reid Hall was at 39°30'40.19"N, 84°43'48.67"W. However, this is skating close to original research.XantheTerra (talk) 18:44, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
But that is better than the Taklamakan Desert.XantheTerra (talk) 22:55, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinate error[edit]

{{geodata-check}}

The following coordinate fixes are needed for There is a W(wiki symbol) in the middle of Wetsern China that references Reid Hall as being there. When in fact, it is in Miami,Ohio. Somebody is just a little off in their mapping skils. —75.200.85.168 (talk) 22:58, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

no Declined — Coordinates in article appear to be correct. Since you do not identify what mapping service you're using it's hard to figure out what's going wrong, but the China error was corrected in Wikipedia back in April and appears to be correct. I'd guess that the mapper you're using hasn't updated the info it pulls from Wikipedia since then. Regards, TransporterMan (TALK) 15:29, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
