Wikification April 2012[edit]

This article had a wikify tag on it since July, 2009. When I attempted to wikify this article it quickly became clear to me that this article is in much greater need of an overhaul from a neutral point of view to weed out the buzzwords. I added wikilinks where I could, but could not do much more with the current article. Lexah06 (talk) 06:18, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional article?[edit]

This article appears to be a ruse for the promotion of financial services in general, and specific branded financial services in particular.

First the article asserts that RBP is a pricing strategy used by fin services. This is incorrect, RBP is used by many different types of industries, although it is widely used in banks and fin servieces.

Second, more words appear to be devoted to naming specific fin services such as Celent, Tower Group, BNP Paribas and Bank of the West.

Third, external links are exclusively devoted to the names of branded fin services.

Finally, the references are all publications authored by financial service providers - not one single, independent or reliable source to be found.

The topic, relationship-based pricing is a worthy inclusion in Wikipedia, but this article does nothing to enlighten users about the concept or how it is applied. BronHiggs (talk) 21:15, 22 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
