Religions in Afghanistan[edit]

Hi @Manticore: why did you not change religions their are no Hindu temples found in Southern Afghanistan for Gods sake (or any think related to Hinduism) this is politically and religiously motivated I just checked this some 2 year ago and nothing of this sort was added some Indians have added (and it went unnoticed) even Heinrich Zimmer the historian never claimed that Southern Afghans were Hindus just some Pashtuns that live close to the Gandharan regions.

There is nothing related to Hinduism found in Afghanistan apart from border regions I do agree that Pashtuns were Buddhist but not Hindus.

No Historians claimed that Afghans were Hindus even if some did some don't.

Their is no proof that Pashtuns were Hindus only the Pashtuns in Eastern Afghanistan near Kabul and Nangarhar in Eastern Afghanistan practiced Hinduism close to the Pakistani border the vast majority of them also have some Dardic ancestry then the Pashtuns of the traditional South, their are no Hindu temples found in Southern Afghanistan of Ram, Shiva or Hanuman or Ganesh etc this trying to culturally assimilate other people in the (Indian sphere of influence) Hinduism is a Castist religion which Pashtuns are completely opposite off. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2402:E280:3D48:133:DDA:5161:4C62:23B6 (talk) 13:53, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Another thing again, @Manticore: as I stated no one Universally agrees Southern Afghans were Hindus even if some did some don't even the Zunbils had their distinct cult religion practices, but some user added its Hinduism in the Infobox why cant it just be called (its own distinct) Zhun religions.
