Definition change[edit]

The change by Jacobeen on 30 May, 2008 significantly changed the definition of the term with no discussion here.

I reverted the change because the new definition more closely resembles the preventive action definition covered in the associated article.

I am not aware of any references where remedial action is used to refer to "action beyond correction of a cited and detected nonconformities" so I think that a change from the established definition should be supported by some source or at least a discussion here.
