Mini MPV, not Compact MPV[edit]

Simply put, the length of the Triber does not exceed the 4 metre mark, making it as a Mini MPV, not Compact MPV. On the other hand, it is clearly based on the Kwid, which is an A-segment car. The Compact MPV has been rooting its history from the C-segment cars, not A-segment ones. The sources (mainly Indian ones) also often do not use the term in usual ways; they refer to these "mini"-class vehicles as "compact"-class vehicles, because the proportion of small cars in India is far more than in other countries, making the cars classed above it can be referred to as "mid-size" cars, which in reality is generally classified as a "compact" car. So they are often incomprehensible for granted. See this news article about the Honda City and see how they see the classes differently ("mid-size" in the news article vs. "subcompact" in the Wikipedia entry). This article also mentions Clio as a "premium hatchback", though it is just a regular subcompact hatchback. It is all about worldwide perspective. I came across this while looking tecent edits. Not that interested in this car, but I have to comment. 182.30.87.226, while I appreciate your efforts for standardising articles (something very useful for the casual reader), your edits are original research, because you disregard many sources by considering there's a clear-cut definition of vehicle classes, but there's not such thing. The mini MPV article says mini MPVs are MPVs based on B-segment cars, but "B-segment" is a purely European construct coming from European regulations and customs, it's not really a "worldwide" classification. Even more, the B-segment article says "the term B-Segment is also used in India, however the definition of the segment differs from that used in Europe", without any further clarification. In America, except when discussing some European imports, the "correct" term for any MPV is minivan. As for you Clio example, "premium" is not really a vehicle class (except when referring to very large cars), it's just a marketing superlative based on perception (or constructed perception), so a car such as the Clio can be casually described as a "premium" in India while being a simple "supermini" in the UK. Worldwide perspectives can't simple be a way to ignore sources, especially for a car primarly intended for markets where the sources are from. My suggestions for a compromise are either a) include both classifications in the lede, something like "the Renault Triber is classified as a mini MPV by European standards, but has been described as a compact MPV by local Indian media" or b) find a source actually calling it a "mini MPV", to comply WP:V.
