Taiwan Area Resident Certificate[edit]

I noticed that the image for this article isn't actually of an Alien Resident Certificate, but of a Taiwan Area Resident Certificate (TARC) given to a person who has been naturalized as an ROC citizen, but has yet to establish residency in Taiwan. Such TARCs are also issued to Overseas Chinese who have ROC citizenship, but don't have residency in Taiwan (and thus the right to a National Identification Card (Republic of China). Both the TARC and the ARC are called 居留證 in Chinese; so, perhaps the article should be renamed Resident Certificate (Republic of China), with a section added for the Taiwan Area Resident Certificate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.112.218.73 (talk) 13:34, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

RFID interference?[edit]

Anyone else notice that the new ARC cards seem to interfere with the EasyCard RFID signal? Whenever I take the MRT, I now have to remove one or the other from my wallet so they're not next to each other because otherwise the EasyCard gets rejected.
