POV?[edit]

This article runs suspiciously like an ad for the station. I'm not against the level of detail about the schedule (this is useful information) but some of the descriptions could do with re-wording.

eg "Hooting Yard On The Air offers the listener a journey into another world, not very much different from our own, while The Harmon e. Phraisyar Show holds up a mirror to the modern world." - Huh? This is just adverstising puff. --Danward 23:43, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Would somebody have a go at re-writing those portions. It's rather hard to write an impersonal review of some of these shows as they do not have any particular subject matter or theme. --Salimfadhley 17:36, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What about: Long-running shows include "Hooting Yard On the Air", a show written and presented by humorist Frank Key. Each episode offers a connected series of narratives, quotations which blend actual historical events and characters with entirely fictional"
The original version of article was incorrect anyway, the blog is called "Hooting Yard", whereas the radio show is and always has been called "Hooting Yard On The Air". --Salimfadhley 17:43, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Resfm.gif[edit]

Image:Resfm.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:51, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure that the doctrine of "Fair Use" has any real meaning here - the Resonance Logo is not so much a copyrightable image (e.g. a work of art), but a trademark. "Fair Use" is a legal concept that does not exist in the UK. Using a Resonance mark on an article about Resonance FM is a wholly appropriate use of image. --Salimfadhley 17:35, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
