Reva Institute of Technology and Management → REVA University – The subject of the article has changed its name and the new name has come into majority use. Unable to change the subject article because the article already exist and redirected to the current article name. It has to be changed to REVA University. Reva Institute of Technology and Management → Reva University – Adhering to the guidelines of the page/topic name we need to change it to Reva University as the subject of the article has changed its name and the new name has come into majority use. Unable to change the subject article because the article already exist and redirected to the current article name. Oppose' page restored REVA University as per Website Note University website uses all CAPS.Reva Institute of Technology and Management has a different Website and it was affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University as per website information and degrees were given from that University through it now changed.Further some of the institutions of the REVA Group are affiliated to Bangalore University like REVA Institute of Science & Management per like this.171.78.172.231 (talk) 20:44, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Remaining questions[edit]

Although the above RM has now been closed, I would like to highlight that some question that arose in that discussion remain unanswered:

What does "REVA" mean? Is that an abbreviation?
Is it related to Mahindra REVA?
Why are these different places both named REVA?
What is Divyasree?
The article says "RITM is merged with Reva University from the academic year 2015-16." Is that true? (It is unsourced.)

Respected Team, REVA Institute of Technology & Management (RITM) was affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, now it is merged to REVA University. Both the institutions are the same. The closure of institute with effect form the academic year 2016-17. The degree awarded to student from REVA University not form Visvesvaraya Technological University. Hence it is not different.
