Title[edit]

The title would be better if it was "Reverse Glass Painting' than the existing one. The present title just says that painting is done on the reverseside of the glass but it doesn't establish it as a genre, a class of painting on its own.Clebore (talk) 16:12, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Additional Content[edit]

You might want to mention "The Kensingtons at Laventie" by Eric Kennington. It's on display in the Imperial War Museum, which states that it is oil on glass, and painted in 1915, so just into the period when this technique was falling into disuse.
