Untitled[edit]

The phrase 'genial architects' is utterly meaningless. Plainly another word than 'genial' was meant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.81.35.113 (talk) 01:57, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The section listing sale prices should not be here. It has nothing to do with the subject, and it further cheapens the tone of an already poorly structured article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.92.42.220 (talk) 18:15, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ayn Rand[edit]

Added citation flags...The story about Ayn Rand and Fordyce "Red" Marsh should have a valid reference-citation. Correspondingly, any supporting reference-citation should be more than hearsay, i.e., more than a story. Primary sources would be best. Otherwise it is just a “story”, and should be removed.

Removed story.

COI Disclaimer[edit]

I just added a link to publicly available digitized materials (lots of photographs, but other documents as well) from the Richard and Dion Neutra collection, held in UCLA Library's Special Collections. It's a rich resource that I think others will find meaningful and useful, but I'm mentioning it here because I'm a librarian at UCLA. I had nothing to do with the creation of the project, but I still want to make sure that it's generally agreed by page editors that this doesn't represent a conflict of interest. "Jewish-Hungarian"?[edit]

One should not mix religion and country of origin. This article was written by somebody who clearly doesn't speak a word of German. Furthermore, there are several mistakes in the biographical data (Neutra's mother died in 1908).--2A02:8388:8180:B000:C8F6:F84:FAB4:EAA1 (talk) 08:00, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Born into a wealthy family?[edit]

The particular area of birth, in Vienna's 2nd district and the exact address (Josefinengasse 7), do not suggest considerable wealth, nor is this the characterization in Hines' authoritative biography on Neutra. The family was secular, which Richard Neutra remained throughout life. There is an emphasis created in this description at the start that is out of balance.
