Photos[edit]

For our friends from WFU who have been adding this tidbit about Skinner's photographs, please see WP:BLP. Wikipedia does not publish controversial claims about living people unless we have a reliable source (like a news article, blogs/message boards don't count). Please do not readd this content to the article until such a source picks up on it. --B (talk) 18:25, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Now that the information is sourced to a network-affiliated news station, perhaps it could stay instead of being summarily deleted by a bot with no explanation as to why. 70.131.250.119 (talk) 17:45, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nude photo[edit]

Please note that this player has posed for a full frontal nude shot which can be VERY easily found on the internet by anyone googling "Riley Skinner Nude". Not only is the picture itself globally available on the net the controversy has been widely reported on major media all over the world including-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q66AB_DwFnI and the New York Post-http://www.nypost.com/p/blogs/giantsblog/report_giants_sign_wake_forest_qb_LKAwxO2gm7q1Psm2kYKyRP. Indeed just googling "Riley Skinner" on google images produces dozens of sites across the globe containing the uncensored frontal nude shot 72.209.63.226 (talk) 21:51, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The reference you cited only states that it "was reported" that he posed nude. The rest of the information you added was speculation. Eagles 24/7 (C) 22:45, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, the WXII video clearly states that Skinner "posed nude", as does the Sports Illustrated (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/web/COM1144226/index.htm) article. The picture is available (click only if you are at least 18) here http://www.queerclick.com/images2008/rileyskinnernude2.jpg, here http://photos.imageevent.com/law558/cocks/riley_skinnernaked.jpg, here http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JR0N5OKJJWw/R6ky3UA0A6I/AAAAAAAAA54/Y2quiJ3c2_A/s1600/riley-skinner.jpg, here http://www.omgblog.com/images/rileyskinnernj4-thumb.jpg and here http://www.dudetubeonline.com/2008/02/03/rs0203.jpg amongst hundreds of other websites.

So here's the situation: 1. We have very reliable sources (WXII-NBC Channel 12, Sports Illustrated amongst others) stating that Skinner "posed nude". 2. We have the picture itself available ubiquitously on the internet. Clearly you wish to censor this well-sourced fact but it is a battle you are destined to lose and frankly if this becomes an edit battle the glare of media publicity is only going to grow exponentially. 72.209.63.226 (talk) 23:51, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The source that you added to the article did not state much, besides that it reportedly is on the Internet. I highly doubt that the media is watching this page to see if Wikipedia editors add this information/remove it. If you add more reliable sources that back up the other information you added (the hazing by teammates part, in particular), I'll let it stay. I am not determined to remove it as Wikipedia is not censored. Eagles 24/7 (C) 00:08, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There is absolutely nothing concerning hazing by teamates or any other spoecualtion in what I have put in the article. That was put in by others and is not in my edit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.209.63.226 (talk) 00:18, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
