Team official Name[edit]

Today, I read an article of the hybrid affiliate of Houston Dynamo having their official nickname. I would think it was like Orlando City SC having a lion on their logo yet, the name is still Orlando City.

In this case, The Rio Grande Valley team has their official nickname on their logo along with horns. Usually their nickname of the team should be a part of the franchise's name.

I am not certain if Rio Grande Valley FC is still the name now that they have an official nickname, especially as a part of their logo.

I was thinking perhaps the team will eventually be known as RGV Toros (Rio Grande Valley Toros), RGV Toros FC (Rio Grande Valley Toros Football Club), or RGV FC Toros.

In the Major sports in the US, the franchise's nickname is part of the name. Bluhaze777 (talk) 20:28, 12 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Adding semi-protection[edit]

There seems to be a selection of users constantly incorrectly updating the nationality of Wan Kuzain on the roster page for this article and others. Is it possible to add

to this article? UncleTupelo1 (talk) 11:00, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: requests for increases to the page protection level should be made at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 11:20, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
