Now what would be good would be to have an IPA transcription of her name. Just listening to the World Tonight again which is what prompted me to check back and see if this article was still okay and I noticed that she pronounces "Ritula" with what to my untrained ear sounds a bit like a (voiceless?) retroflex plosive, which I note occurs in Gujarati, which there's a fair chance is the linguistic background of her name (see Shah (Jain family name)). I too am confused. Sometimes she herself seems to pronounce it with a distinct "t", but tonight she used a "th", as in "that"; others substitute a hard "k". --Wally Tharg (talk) 22:04, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I am in agreement with Trilobite. An IPA version of her own pronunciation would be useful; hardly any speakers of English would notice that "t" here was not identical to "t" in most English words.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 22:41, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is a self-published primary-source description of her departure from the BBC; I can't find a corresponding press release on this topic, but she has stopped presenting on The Real Story since the timeframe that she calls out in the post. There doesn't appear to be any verification that her LinkedIn belongs to her. There are already unsourced but probably correct references in this document to the date of her departure.
