Source to confluence[edit]

Though the river's headwaters extend well to the north and east, the traditional source of the Cynon is the resurgence of Llygad Cynon. From there to its confluence with the Taf(f) is according to my exacting measurements (using an online map measuring tool applied to a detailed OS base), some 22.0km - this is original research so cannot of itself feed into the article but it does suggest that a search for a suitable reference should be undertaken.
