Small changes to links, etc.[edit]

The custom is to Wiki link the first reference to a term, then not link the others in the body of the text. Very common terms such as "km" do not need links.

There still remain many statements that need specific references, such as "The river maintained in the past a greater flow", and "The whole area surrounding the river was committed to defending the sovereignty of Paraguay". These references should be in English, since English editors and readers will want to read them. A general link to a page for tourists does not meet this need, so I've marked the article as needing references.
