Color?[edit]

What the heck does this mean?

it is crystal clear and mahogany in color

Doesn't the definition of "crystal clear" specifically mean that it doesn't have a color? Pick one. It can't be both. -- Foogod (talk) 01:09, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think he means that you can see through it. It's sort of like lake water. You can see to the bottom of the lake, but it has a color when you put it in a glass. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.45.30.188 (talk) 21:01, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • It seems like Turkish tea is about the wider tea culture in Turkey, while Rize tea is about a specific terroir. I think it's worth leaving them separate. The second-best choice is to merge Rize tea into Turkish tea. Ibadibam (talk) 20:21, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Especially now that Turkish Tea has been renamed as Tea in Turkey, somewhat broadening the scope of the article. Most of the text here is repeated in that article anyway. Leoseliv (talk) 12:58, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think the move of the other page changes the fact that these are different topics, however related they may be. Ibadibam (talk) 03:04, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Opposed: separate topics and Rize tea has more than enough to be a stand alone article. Joojay (talk) 18:31, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - notable origins of tea have their own articles, looking at the column in Template:Teas. Rize is no different in being notable enough for this. LenaAvrelia (talk) 21:22, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
