Link to interior photos[edit]

I'm adding a link to a gallery of pictures taken inside the house with the rationale that the house is not regularly open to the public, therefore it is not as easy for visitors to see inside the house, therefore the photos are valuable. Secondly, while online there are many photos of the exterior of the house and gardens, there are virtually no comprehensive photo galleries of the interior of the house. Therefore, persons reading this article who are interested in the architecture and interior design of the house will find this photo gallery to be interesting and instructive.

National Registry Application[edit]

The Robert Allerton Park was added to the National Register of Historic Places in summer 2007. I have a copy of the application form, which is public information, and I will be using it to enhance this article in the next few weeks. I noticed there is nothing in this article about the 4-H Memorial Camp that has existed here since the 1940s. This should be at least mentioned, although it really deserves its own article. The campers are taken on the sculpture walk and given an introduction/education about the history of the place and the art, and there are Evensong ceremonies in the sunken gardens. When I was there, I was told that the green Fu dog in the herb garden is the only green one in existence.
