I have different dates for the Patent: In Charlotte Bigg - The Panorama, or La Nature A Coup d’OEil she states that it is 1787 In Stephan Oettermann – The Panorama, History of a Mass Medium he states that it is 1787 No reference about Barker coining the word "Panorama"; Oettermann states it is a neologism.
