May be defunct[edit]

As of 2017 the nearest site listed on Forest Service online recreation directory is the Deer Park Rental Cabin (aka Deer Park Guard Station) at NF348A, about two miles farther east up NF347/N Fork Boise River Road. ☆ Bri (talk) 01:13, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Lee memorial category[edit]

Memorial category restored per sourced text in article: "The campground and creek, both named for General Robert E. Lee, are the only two Confederate memorials in the U.S. state of Idaho." ☆ Bri (talk) 15:54, 11 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly the site is named after General Lee even though he had no direct connection wich is clearly WP:V. The Southern Poverty Law Center's list of memorials (the citation) is based on their strong point of view about not celebrating racism. Wikipedia's categories are based on WP:NPOV and aim to avoid WP:SHAREDNAME. I would suggest those differences mean we would categorize some articles differently but, if this is just a one article disagreement, we can certainly agree to disagree.
