One more Robert Forbes[edit]

There was yet another Robert Forbes, regent at Marischal and at King’s Colleges (in Aberdeen) from the late 1640s to 1687 (the date of death), whose philosophical views have been discussed e.g. in Giovanni Gellera's The Philosophy of Robert Forbes: A Scottish Scholastic Response to Cartesianism, Journal of Scottish Philosophy (Edinburgh University Press), Sept 2013, Vol 11, issue 2, pp. 191-211. I'm not in a position to judge his general notability yet, but he might be of interest as a philosopher and educator. --Oop (talk) 12:49, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
