Untitled[edit]

Having just linked here from the article on Winston Churchill, I wonder if a "Lord Salisbury" link, or disambiguation page, might be useful.

Parliamentary Secretary[edit]

The article says he was "Parliamentary Secretary to the Lord Privy Seal" in 1934. Does this mean he was a Parliamentary Under-Secretary, i.e. a junior minister in the Lord Privy Seal's department? Or a Parliamentary Private Secretary, i.e. not a minister at all but an MP acting as assistant to the minister? The latter is normally the first rung on the promotion ladder, and in the 1931-5 Parliament there would of course have been huge numbers of Tory MPs after jobs.Paulturtle (talk) 20:25, 2 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tooltip glitch: two consecutive commas[edit]

I don't know if this an already-known issue, but I see that when, in any other article that links to this one, I hover over that article's wikilink to here, the tooltip that pops up has two consecutive commas.

The article itself shows post-nominal letters after the first comma in question.

I have no objection to the tooltip mechanism automatically excluding post-nominal letters; I understand the need for brevity in tooltips. However, the mechanism is glitching in this case and needs to be fixed. Is perhaps the superscripted number for a footnote after the FRS causing the problem?
