The Who's Who of Welsh International Soccer Players lists Roberts as born in Rhosllanerchrugog and playing for Rhos, Witton Britannia, West Bromwich Albion, Wrexham & Crewe. On www.allfootballers.com, there are two separate listings. One is for a R. Roberts who played twice for Wales and played for Rhos and Crewe (but with no place or date of birth) and the other is shown as Robert HC Roberts, born Marchwiel in 1870 and played for Rhos, Witton Britannia, West Bromwich Albion, Wrexham & Corwen. Both are listed as "Winger". (The two villages are about 7 miles apart.) Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 07:15, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
