The article mentions his cousin, Richard Brooke Garnett...I wonder if the family descended from Thomas Garnett, who was one of the "Ancient Planters" (The earliest colonists) of Jamestown, Virginia ? Engr105th 15:29, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
