Robert the Devil[edit]

The uncited statement at the end of the summary that Robert De Belleme's cruelties "may have inspired the legend of Robert the Devil" I doubt applied to De Belleme. My understanding is that it was given to William Conqueror's father Duke Robert of Normandy (aka Rollo).Cloptonson (talk) 18:23, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
