Influence?[edit]

The plot of this book seems to borrow heavily from Colossus: The Forbin Project; for example, the computer orders the construction of an underground facility to house its new hardware (on Crete and in Canada, respectively). I think the technology gone bad is a pretty common theme across most of science fiction. With the advancements in computers, it's more realistic, and therefore easier to write about. Befly13 (talk) 16:17, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
