Fair use rationale for Image:Rockyjoe.jpg[edit]

Image:Rockyjoe.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:35, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move[edit]

There should be separate articles for the song, Rocky Mountain Way, and the compilation album of the same title. Zariane (talk) 16:45, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think the song is more notable than the compilation album, so if there is to be a split, the album info should be moved to Rocky Mountain Way (album). However, the album isn't very notable, and creating a stub for it is required only by Wikipedia's rock music editors' conventions, not by WP:NOTE or WP:NOT. / edg 17:35, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The move issue should hinge both on keeping the edit history with the appropriate article and determining the primary topic of "Rocky Mountain Way." Rocky Mountain Way was first created as an article about the album[1] but soon became priamrily about the song[2]. From then, most edits had to do with the song. As User:Edgarde pointed out above, the primary meaning seems to be the song rather than the album so oppose the move. Keep the song at "Rocky Mountain Way" and move the album info to a new Rocky Mountain Way (album) article. — AjaxSmack 18:57, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose move and also oppose creation of disambig page. Agree with AjaxSmack and Edgarde that the song is the primary meaning of the name Rocky Mountain Way, the album is later, named after the song and, most important, not nearly so well known. This article is primarily about the song and should stay that way. Agree with AjaxSmack, the edit history should stay with the song article, so there should be no move. DAB is unnecessary as there is no third meaning, so a hatnote will do. Support split, the album is deserving of an article in its own right; Agree that Rocky Mountain Way (album) is the best name for this new article. Andrewa (talk) 19:23, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
