Old cleanup discussion[edit]

OK, I believe that I fixed it. You can remove the clean-up tag if you want.

  • I've further cleaned up the article, and removed the tag. Hopefully the improved version will satisfy you, too! :) - Best regards, Mailer Diablo 07:00, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks much! Brainhell 15:57, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Self"-promotion?[edit]

Five edits were made today [1], stripping out the documented conviction of Mr. Boas and replacing it with glowing descriptions of his public life. Some of the latter may be well-deserved, but the promotional language and peacock terms are contrary to our style. The edits were made by a new user who has chosen the subject of this article as his user name: Rogerboas (talk). His other 9 edits today all relate to Roger Boas as well. I'll go put a welcome template on his talk page. If he comes back here, he should read WP:NPOV and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest before making any substantive edits similar to those removed. --Hjal (talk) 07:31, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The user identifies themselves as Jena and I'm attempting to explain the situation to them. Some of the content they added looked fine but obviously, the whitewashing isn't. Hopefully they can come contribute to the article as it appears they have useful content to contribute. OlYeller21Talktome 21:35, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies for "whitewashing" but i believe you removed every single one of my contributions, despite being "well-deserved" as you stated. Can you please specify the "promotional language" you are referring to because I'm not quite sure factual, documented information is "promotional." My "glowing description" was supported by DOCUMENTED sources. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rogerboas (talkcontribs) 23:00, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think the issue is more with your complete removal of the child molestation charges. OlYeller21Talktome 23:35, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
again, my apologies for whitewashing — Preceding unsigned comment added by JRcappel (talkcontribs) 15:39, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rape conviction should have it's own column
