Meaning?[edit]

I wonder if, in this juridical context, it meant "we cannot find that son-of-the-bitch", i.e. "was he ever conceived at all"?. WP:OR, I know... Zezen (talk) 13:08, 15 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Noteworthiness?[edit]

Traditionally, the litmus test for inclusion on Wikipedia is determined by the noteworthiness of the subject written about. I fail to see the noteworthiness of this character. We don't even know his real name. He's apparently been included simply because he had a vulgarity in his nickname, and was mentioned once or twice in some historic court record. Apparently, that now warrants him getting his own page on Wikipedia? He certainly made no lasting impact on history, or society, for that matter. It isn't even known, for sure, that his nickname has any real connection to the etymology of the modern day swear word. He already has a mention on Wikipedia's page, specifically devoted to the swear word "fuck". I believe this is adequate.

Furthermore, this page seems to be an offshoot of that one, as it is given to addressing elements of the word "fuck", and not Roger Fuckebythenavele.

Hence, we have the word equivalent of mission creep. The page purports to devote itself to an arguably irrelevant figure in history, then wanders off into addressing the vulgarity in his nickname, which already has its own separate entry.

I move for its complete deletion.
