Corn that grows unintended from the previous season or crop. These volunteer or rogue corn plants can sometimes be seen as taller or shorter in plant height than the intended, planted corn. Thus, one rogues or conducts roguing to remove these undesired plants. Rogue Valley AVA[edit]

Rogue Valley is okay because it is a valley. However, there is no "Valley AVA", so Rogue Valley AVA falls under WP:PTM. Similarly, if Rogue Valley were the name of a town, it would also be a partial match only. At least, that's the way I interpret the guidelines. I won't revert you but I do think you should know that the AVA is sometimes known shorthanded as the Rogue (i.e. "I've had a Rogue Pinot" or "We got some Rogue Syrah coming in") so its inclusion, according to WP:DAB here should be non-controversial. Not everyone who is searching for "Rogue wine" from this AVA will necessarily know that the proper name is the "Rogue Valley AVA". The whole reason that DAB pages exist is "for the benefit of the readers". I suppose we could make a redirect out of Rogue (wine) to the AVA and link that here if we want to take WP:PTM to its most literal interpretation but that seems a bit unnecessary when our readers are just as well served with a direct link to the AVA.
