re alumni of which college?[edit]

Rolf Noskwith is mentioned as being an alumni of Trinity College at one point but is in the list of alumni of Christ College at the end.

re the name Charnos[edit]

The name of the company "Charnos" is formed from his father's anglicised name CHArles NOSkwith.

Was Noskwith classified as a soldier or civilian?[edit]

Rudd, Bramwell PhD. Editor Noskwith Private Papers (2017) Rolf Noskwith was never, at any time, a soldier. He was a civilian working on cryptology and translation at Bletchley Park from 1941-1945. He stayed at the future GCHQ until joining the family business, CHARNOS, in late 1946. He became non-executive chairman in July 1999.
