What were the leading cities and how big were they?[edit]

Yeah, it's a shame this is still a start-class article. Some that should be mentioned (randomly occurring to me) would be Lugdunum (Lyon) and the Sanctuary of the Three Gauls; Narbonne and Nîmes in the South; Augustodunum (Autun); Trier (Germany, but the Treviri were considered a Gallic or Celtic people); and really a dozen others. By the 2nd century CE, Lugdunum was quite a cosmopolitan place. Cynwolfe (talk) 23:54, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah. If we count the Rhine cities too, some were quite large. In later periods, however, some of the older cities in the south shrank considerably, but there's some controversy over how much and why. Ananiujitha (talk) 03:01, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
