Central Asia Low‑importance

	Asia portal Rong people is part of WikiProject Central Asia, a project to improve all Central Asia-related articles. Xirong[edit]

Xirong = Hsi-Jung (Wade-Giles) 西戎

On wiki, when you click Xirong, you will see Xionites page...I think, they are different! (or Xionites were part of Xirong people) Böri (talk) 14:54, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Xirong (tribe)[edit]

Both articles refer to the same people and I believe that Xirong is a more commonly used term than Rong on it's own; naturally this article should stay as a redirect. Philg88 (talk) 10:47, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No explanation given for the deletion of these changes, why? Chinese: 戎 does mean "hostile foreigners", plain Mandarin.[edit]
