Assessment[edit]

@Ipigott: Why have you rated the article as a stub? Checking the criteria, I think is far off even for the first version. --KnightMove (talk) 10:41, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for querying this, KnightMove. It's a well presented article and considerably longer than most of your creations. I should however explain that my assessments are designed to differentiate between articles which are still rather short (this one only has 170 words of running text) and those which have been further developed to at least more than 200 words and preferably to over 250. Many assessors treat any article of less than 250 words as a stub and add a stub template to the text. In this connection, see Wikipedia:Stub. I realize ORES and Rater favour a Start rating but they are designed to run on all language versions of Wikipedia and take account of infoboxes, illustrations and sourcing. If you disagree with my assessment, you are of course free to change it. You might be interested to see I have upgraded your Aaron and Adam Weis to C class. As for Roses Revolution, you could draw on the additional detail in the German version, which I see you wrote yourself. It would not take much to bring it up to Start class.--Ipigott (talk) 11:18, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, accepted, thanks for the explanation. --KnightMove (talk) 11:36, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
KnightMove: I've just noticed you created the much longer German version. I suggest you add a bit more detail to the EN article and let me know when I can reassess it. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 11:43, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
While some of those contents are more interesting for German-speaking readers, I will transfer significant portions step by step. Thanks for the info and for upgrading Aaron and Adam Weis. --KnightMove (talk) 14:20, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ipigott: Would you consider it sufficient for an upgrade already? --KnightMove (talk) 11:49, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
KnightMove: After tidying it up a bit, I have now rated it C class.--Ipigott (talk) 13:49, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
