The Rosetta Code website has over 49,077 different program solutions (entries) representing over 597 different computer programming languages (as of April, 2016), and is very active.   Numerous professional computer programmers have invested thousands of hours creating and entering the many examples of how to solve the 786+ eclectic tasks (and another 204 draft tasks).   It serves a very valuable comparison and research tool for algorithms and programming solutions in a variety of computer programming languages.   -- GerardSchildberger (talk) 20:12, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

History merge[edit]

This revision of the article was clearly copied from this earlier revision, which at the time was at User:Paddy3118/Rosetta Code, having been undeleted and userfied after the deletion referenced at the top of this page. So I've merged the histories of the two to reinstate the correct copyright attribution for early editors. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:57, 9 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Rosetta Code is not active anymore?[edit]

As today, Rosetta Code doesn't seem active. Any link like https://www.rosettacode.org/wiki/Category:Programming_Tasks returns a 404 error. https://rosettacode.org/?lang=en shows a page that doesn't seem related to Rosetta Code. Kiamlaluno (talk) 19:24, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's now back. It seems it was a temporary problem. Kiamlaluno (talk) 07:59, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
